Yorgos is a Guitarist/Composer currently residing in Vienna, Austria.
His repertoire encompasses classical composers as well as his own compositions: a fusion of classical, flamenco and jazz elements influenced by the traditional Greek music. “Yorgos Nousis is a multi-faceted master guitarist,” wrote Paul Fowles in the Classical Guitar Magazine
As a composer he has composed for films, pop and rock bands, web series and exhibitions, as well as arranged soundtracks for television commercials and theater performances. His works are published by the Doberman-Yppan editions in Canada www.productionsdoz.com and have been recorded and performed from musicians around the world.
Concerts
Nousis started performing in the early nineties and has had numerous solo concerts in Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Romania, France, Serbia and Greece. While his recent concerts focused on original compositions, earlier performances included classical pieces as well as rock and traditional Greek music. Since October 2016, Yorgos is a member of the renowned Bratislava Guitar Quartet together with Martin Krajčo, Radka Krajčová, Miloš Slobodník. The quartet has already had a long and successful career for over twenty years.
