She was born in Paysandu, Uruguay in 1982 and comes from a family of prominent artists. Her parents Julio Siqueira and Raquel Franco, both lecturers classical guitar, they resulted from an early age to play the guitar. Already in 15 years due to the fact she won first prize in the national guitar competitions. She studied in Paysandu by Hugo Acosta and Montevideo led by prof. Cesar Amaro Carlevaro. In this period, with concerts at various social events and appears regularly on television of Uruguay, which have in their country is gaining popularity.
In 2001 she won first prize at the International Guitar Competition Pro-Musica in Caxias do Sul and issued his first solo album “Lo vendre” in Germany. Thus begins a fruitful international career associated with travel and performances in South America, Europe and the United States. Among other things, she has also performed at the Royal Festival Hall and the famous Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. Music critics rated it positively performances.
Since 2003 he lives in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she studied with Henrique Pinto-A and later with Fernando de Lima created a guitar duo, which became its main artistic activity. The duo released three albums and acted in more than twenty countries, including concerts in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Warsaw, Kiev, Sarajevo, Paris, Milan, Luxembourg, Brussels, Dublin, Madrid, Pretoria, Luanda, Dallas, Miami, Las Vegas, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo and Asuncion.
He teaches and leads courses guitar at several universities in the United States and Europe, Brazilian Music Institute – University of Florida (Gainesville – Florida), SMU Meadows School of the Arts (Fort Worth – Texas) and the Royal Conservatory of Liege (Liege – Belgium). He is also a member of the jury in the program of TV Cultura – “Pre-Estreia”.
