Fernando de Lima was born in São Bento Abade, in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. Influenced by the family musical tradition he was six years old playing on Brazilian folk instruments Viola Caipira. He began studying guitar at Suzane by Luiza da Silva Carlos, in São Paulo. In 1996 he began his studies at the conservatory “Marceliano Braga” in Varginha, where he led Guitarist Marcelina Diego Leite.

He graduated also clocks with prominent Brazilian guitarists such. Paulo Martelli Martelli Pedro, Eduardo Fleury, Sergio Abreu and Roberto Capocki. Fernando won the first prize at the 2nd International Guitar Competition “Caxias do Sul” (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil), and included in the price were also concerts and workshops at festivals in Austria and Switzerland. Invitation Henrique Pinto began his collaboration on the recording of “Guitar-hour video ‘(video-style of guitar). For several years he was a member of the famous Brazilian guitar quartet “Quaternaglia” from Sao Paulo.
